My name is Natalie, I am 26 years old, and come from Newport - a small town in Shropshire. I started taking photographs towards the end of my GCSEs in school. I studied media and photography at college, before taking an interest in documentary photography. I hadn’t really given much thought into university, but the pull of the ocean and the moors led me down to Plymouth. I graduated in 2017 with my Ba (Hons) Photography at University of Plymouth, and since then, I have been running bars and restaurants in the city.
I quickly took to social media marketing, teaching myself how to approach and interact with the desired demographic of my client, to create a stronger presence on social media, primarily through the use of photography.
In 2019, I began shooting weddings, and it certainly didn’t take long for me to fall in love with it. I love to learn - so any photographic approach for me is the opportunity to pick up new skills. I am always interested in collaborating too, so any other artists are more than welcome to drop me a message.
I like to think of myself as the kind of person whose personality shines through, and I love my photographs to show that too. I love playing with colour and light, and continuously exploring new ideas - I don’t want to just document your wedding, I want to create photographs that make you smile every time you look back, and that remind you of exactly how you felt that day - no matter how long ago it was!
